NFT NYC BEST ARTIST FINALIST ​ NFT NYC BEST EMERGING ARTIST FINA LIST ​ NFT NYC SPEAKER NFT LDN SPEAKER ​ The REFLECTIONS NFT collection is based on a painting that has transcended being a painting on gallery wall and has been turned into street art, silk screen prints and now reimagined with a range of new elements for its debut NFT release. ​ Different artworks now appear in the glasses, with different colours of hair, skin, nails, lips and lenses creating thousands of unique, collectable variations. ​ Edition size of 3,333 sold out within an hour of mint at 0.1 Eth and less than 1% are now available on Opensea. Since its launch, the collection has generated over 350 Eth of secondary market sales. SKIN TONES 3 skin tones create the base layer of the artwork and are distributed evenly across the collection. LIPS 7 lip colours feature in the collection, from more common classic lipstick shades to rarer shiny options. NAILS 6 shades of nail polish are used in the collection, from classic red and lollipop colours used in paintings to rare shiny variants that compliment the lips. HAIR 10 different hair colours appear in the collection, from classic colours featured in paintings to new shades and shiny variants to make the NFT unique from physcial art. LENSES 7 colour variants make up the lenses, each making the artwork that reflects in the glasses pop in a different way with each colour variation. REFLECTIONS 13 paintings from some of the worlds greatest artists (and one by me) make up the reflections in the lenses. There are also rare signatures in the nails in a small % of the NFTs.

HINTERGRUND: Eine kurze Geschichte der Street Art In den frühen 1970er Jahren entstand aus den tiefsten und dunkelsten Winkeln New Yorks eine einzigartige Kunstform, die Millionen von Passanten ansprach, wobei starke und kraftvolle Botschaften übermittelt wurden und die Stimme derer repräsentierten, die die Mainstream-Ideen ablehnten und wer bezweifelte die Aufrichtigkeit des "Systems". Die Arbeit von Graffiti-Künstlern eroberte die Welt im Sturm, als über Nacht verschiedene Inschriften auf Backsteinmauern, Betongebäuden und Gehwegen von städtischen Gebieten fast aller Länder erschienen. Aus sprühlackierten Signaturen entwickelte sich diese Form der Meinungsfreiheit im Laufe der Zeit zu aufwändigen Zeichnungen, die normalerweise den umgebenden Raum reflektieren oder einbeziehen. Und so erschloss sich die Welt eine neue Kunstform - STREET ART. Es ist mir eine Ehre, einige der etabliertesten und einige junge Menschen zusammenzubringen und vielversprechende Straßenkünstler aus Europa und den USA.
